Is the app free?
The app is freemium. Core scanning, PDF creation, and passport photo features are free with ads. A premium upgrade removes ads and unlocks premium features such as PDF merge, split, and page reorder.

Does the app upload my photos or documents?
No — documents and photos are never uploaded for processing; core features run on your device. Two things do use the network: AdMob (ads in the free tier) and Google Play Billing (premium purchases) communicate with Google. Separately, Android device backup — an OS feature controlled by your Google settings — may include app data.
Does the app require an internet connection?
Core processing — scanning, PDF tools, and passport photo creation — works offline. An internet connection is needed for ads (free tier) and for purchasing or verifying premium through Google Play Billing.

Do I need to create an account?
No. The app has no accounts and no sign-in. Your documents, photos, and history stay in the app's local storage.

How does document scanning work?
Point the camera at a document and the app detects its corners automatically. You can adjust the corners manually, correct perspective, apply enhancement profiles (Original, Document, High Contrast, and more) or grayscale, then export the result as a PDF.
Can I adjust the scan corners myself?
Yes. Automatic corner detection runs on-device, and you can fine-tune each corner manually before perspective correction is applied.

How do I create a PDF from photos or scans?
Pick images from your gallery, scans, or passport photos, choose page size, fit, margin, and quality options, and export. A built-in viewer lets you check the result.

Can I merge PDFs?
Yes. PDF merge is available now as a premium feature — combine multiple PDFs into one file, on your device.

Can I split a PDF into parts?

Can I reorder pages in a PDF?
Yes. Page reorder is available now as a premium feature — rearrange pages before you export or share.

How do I make a passport photo at home?
Take a photo with the front camera while on-screen face guidance helps you align. The app removes the background on-device (ML Kit selfie segmentation, bundled model), replaces it with white, and lets you adjust brightness and contrast before exporting.

Are the photo presets official government requirements?
No. The 9 presets (US Passport, US Visa, EU/ICAO, China Visa, India Passport, Canada Passport, UK Passport, Australia Passport, Schengen Visa) are supported photo presets in the app — convenience sizes, not official requirements. Choosing a preset does not mean a photo satisfies every requirement of the issuing authority, and requirements can change. Always verify current requirements with the relevant authority; each preset links its official government source with a last-checked date.

Can I print multiple passport photos on one sheet?
Yes. Print-sheet export is available now — lay out copies of your passport photo on a single sheet for printing.

Where are my scans and photos stored?
In the app's local storage on your device, with a browsable history you can search, filter, and mark as favorites. Deleted items go to a trash with a 30-day recycle bin, where they can be restored or deleted permanently.

What data does the app collect?
The app itself has no accounts, no analytics, and no crash reporting, and documents/photos are never uploaded for processing. The free tier shows ads via AdMob, which uses advertising identifiers, and premium purchases are processed by Google Play Billing — both communicate with Google. Android device backup (an OS feature in your Google settings) may include app data. See the privacy policy for the full details.
